Media summary: Christine Lawhon was killed when she crashed her car into the back of a parked police cruiser on I-64 about 3:30 a.m. Police said two officers were outside of the cruiser looking for speeders in a construction zone. According to police, the officers saw Lawhon's car coming and jumped back inside the cruiser, before impact so they would not get hit. The impact reportedly pushed the cruiser 75 feet. The two officers sustained minor injuries, police said.
