Media summary: Antone Black Jr. was seen pulling a child down the street and a police officer intervened. Black fled on foot to his parents house nearby, where he jumped into his car. An officer smashed the car's window with a baton and tasered Black to no effect. The officer was joined by two off-duty officers and one civilian who collectively restrained Black in the prone position with handcuffs and ankle restraints. After 10 minutes, Black became unresponsive and died. The child turned out to allegedly be a relative of Black's and was in no danger. Black suffered from mental illness. Black's family has filed an excessive use of force lawsuit.
