Media summary: Dockery's estranged wife had called police, concerned that he was inside her apartment. Dockery killed North St. Paul police officer Richard Crittenden with his own service weapon after throwing a flaming T-shirt at him. He then turned the officer's gun on Maplewood Officer Julie Olson, who returned fire, killing Dockery. Olson was slightly wounded during the confrontation.
