Media summary: Deputy James Nisius, 42, chased Wayne Stevens, Jr. until he crashed the stolen car he was driving. Stevens lost control of the vehicle while traveling at speeds upwards of 80 miles per hour. He struck a tree and was ejected from the vehicle, killing him. In the debris of the crash, officers found 10 shotguns, rifles and handguns, several of which had been reported stolen.
