Media summary: Zumalt died when the car in which he was riding overturned during a police chase. The patrol reported that the driver, a 21-year-old Lee's Summit man, was fleeing from police at high speed when his Nissan drove through water on the road. The driver lost control, and his vehicle slid off the right side of the road, struck a utility pole and overturned. The driver refused medical treatment. Zumalt, the passenger, was killed.
