Media summary: New Tazewell Police Officer Harrison Cornett initiated a chase of a motorcycle. Because of the high rate of the motorcycle's speed, Cornett decided not to continue a chase through the town of New Tazewell. Moments later, the motorcyclist, Earl Hendrickson, 32, crashed into a tractor trailer that was making a left hand turn off Highway 33. The fiery collision killed Hendrickson instantly, according to police.
