Media summary: Around 10:40 p.m., two officers found a distraught Bivens sitting in a 2001 Ford Taurus at Buck Sansom Park. One officer touched Bivens's shoulder. She leaned back, pointed a .22-caliber handgun at her head and fired. She cocked the hammer and pointed the handgun at the other officer. He shot her twice in the chest, killing her.
