A pursuit was initiated, but officers reportedly turned off their lights and ended the pursuit after losing sight of the vehicle. Officers, who weren't pursuing, came upon a crash near 51st and Vienna involving the fleeing vehicle, less than 500 yards away. The driver ran away, and the passenger was arrested.
