Media summary: Ronald Beasley accepted a ride from Earl Murray, not knowing Murray would first stop for a drug deal at a Jack in the Box restaurant. The deal was a drug sting. When 13 police converged on Murray he panicked, threw his car into reverse, locked bumpers with a DEA SUV, then tried to move forward with his tires spinning. Two officers standing in front of his car unloaded their weapons into it, a total of 21 shots, killing both unarmed men.
