The officer put on his vehicle's lights and siren, but the Infiniti sped off, going at speeds above 100 mph. Fort Wayne Police joined the chase, which police called off for safety reasons near Hessen Cassel Road, and were a quarter-mile behind the Infiniti when it crashed, killing the driver, Payton Randle.
